Our mission is to provide informational, educational, cultural, and recreational services to the citizens, organizations and businesses of our community. We strive to provide free access to a wide array of information, resources, programs and technology to meet the needs of our patrons.

This library promotes community enrichment and individual achievement through reading programs and special activities. We keep our shelves filled with bestsellers, works by popular authors, a well-balanced collection of non-fiction books, large print books, popular magazines and periodicals, audio books and videos.

USED BOOK SALE
Friends of the Rock Creek Public Library will be having a used book sale (items include VHS tapes, books on cassette, children books, fiction and non-fiction books) starting on Monday, January 23 thru Friday, February 3, 2012.
WINTER STORY HOUR
Winter Story Hour for ages 3-5 years old begin on Monday, February 6 and Tuesday, February 7 for an hour of fun at the Rock Creek Public Library.  Come listen to a lovely story and bring or wear your favorite and most loved possession.  Can't wait to see your treasures!

Rock Creek Public Library is pleased to inform you that Recorded Books OneClickdigitial is now available and ready to release to our patrons.  Under the Quick Links, click on the rockcreekoh.oneclickdigial.com and you will be directed to your library's customized OneClickdigital website.  After a quick one-time account set-up process, you will be able to checkout and download audiobooks.

 

Rock Creek Book Club Creates Donation Basket for Library

Like Angel Trees at Christmas time where people take an angel and purchase that item for a child, the members of the Rock Creek Library Book Club decided to do something similar to help their library. The basket is a patriotic theme with flags. Each flag is labeled with a different item(s) that the library needs such as cleaning supplies, household items, DVDs, Music CDs, office supplies, arts and crafts supplies, a magazine subscription, book donations and more. They call themselves the LOL Club for "Love Our Library".
