RCPL Trustee Application

The Rock Creek Public Library Board of Trustees has an opening for a new trustee. The Library Board of Trustees make decisions affecting library policies, strategic direction and funding for the library. Trustees also volunteer their time and bring a diverse set of talents to library leadership. Each trustee serves a 7-year term. Interested parties may turn in their applications to the library. Applications may be picked up at the library or can be found down below. The library serves residents in the Rock Creek, Roaming Shores and Morgan Township areas as well as parts of contiguous townships. Trustees are required to live in Ashtabula County. Application deadline is December 1, 2025.

Members of the Rock Creek Public Library Board of Trustees are appointed by the Jefferson Board of Education, as this is a School District Public Library under the Ohio Revised Code, section 3375.15. Trustees serve for a term of seven years without compensation. The library is funded by the State of Ohio’s Public Library Fund, and by a local levy.
